We’re back – The Playground for the New Economy Festival is returning for its fourth year. We're holding it at our very own campus in Devon – the New Economy Centre at Selgars Mill!

Join us to for a unique three days of critical conversations, interactive workshops, idea surgeries, sustainable food, craft beer, and, of course, live music!

Tickets
– Three-day ticket is £125.

– Early Bird ticket (SOLD OUT) is £115.

– Sponsored three-day tickets are available for £25 for marginalised communities, young adults (aged 18-35), disabled individuals (Free companion tickets available), and those living in areas of deprivation. Apply here.

– Deposit ticket is £50 now and the remaining £75 by 25 May.

– Day tickets are now available, giving access to the festival until the final act of the day finishes. Tuesday is £45, Wednesday is £55, Thursday is £35.

All 3-day tickets include full access to the festival and camping (in your own tent) at the festival campsite.

Accommodation
Camping on-site is included with a 3-day festival ticket.

Additional on-site accommodation and glamping is available at extra cost.

There are no campervan spaces.

Food & Drink

Food & drink available will be available to purchase on site.

Arrivals/Departures

– Check-in is from 12 midday on Tuesday 12 July 2022.
– Check-out is by 5pm on Thursday 14 July 2022.

(Earlier arrival is only permitted by prior arrangement.)

The Playground for the New Economy is hosted by Stir to Action, a nonprofit worker co-operative. Stir to Action launched in 2012 to increase democratic ownership in UK communities and workplaces, supported through magazine publishing, digital accelerators, online, regional, and residential training experiences, and economic development projects in partnership with local government and national institutions.

Flexible Booking Policy & Terms & Conditions

If we have to cancel due to government guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19), we will endeavour to inform all attendees as soon as possible. In such an event, all fees paid will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may be incurred. In the event that dates have to be changed, attendees may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient.

If you have to cancel due to government guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19), you have the flexibility to move your booking to another Stir to Action or Selgars Mill course or event within 12 months of the course, or you may request a full refund for all fees, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may be incurred.

Refunds

Refunds will only be made if a written notification is received more than four weeks before the course. Send written notification of cancellation via email to workshops@stirtoaction.com. For bookings cancelled four weeks or less before the event, no refund will be made other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the workshop facilitators. No refund will be made for non-attendance.
