LGA

We set up our LGA café in 2022 to generate an income so that we can continue providing our healthy eating and lifestyle support services for free or at a nominal fee. 

With funding we want to scale up our café so that we can:

• Support families that are struggling with the cost of living crisis and relying on food banks by providing hot healthy food parcels instead of tinned food
• Cater for the cultural needs of the local community
• Provide all our food related healthy eating projects in house reducing our costs and generating an income
• Provide healthy cooking classes on a small budgets
• Work with local organisations to identify those in need and work together to create a less intrusive service
• Create new jobs and volunteering opportunities
• Establish an over 50’s social club at the cafe
