One of the speakers we are particularly excited about is Yvonne Field. Her talk ‘You’ve Made a Commitment to Anti-Racist Practice – What Next?’ Will open the festival on Tuesday 1st September, 11am - 12pm.


Yvonne is a Change Agent, Social Entrepreneur, Strategist, Social Justice Campaigner who is the founder and CEO of ‘The Ubele Initiative’. An African Diaspora led intergenerational social enterprise founded in 2014. Their primary mission is to help build more sustainable communities across the UK. Ubele in Swahili means ‘The Future’.
