The BeyondHERE fellowship series is back with a new Autumn/Winter webinar programme that connects UK communities with inspiring international initiatives and approaches from other parts of the world.

From 26 October - 30 November 2020 we’re connecting participants with facilitators from six global cities who will share their place-based experience to explore new models of democratic working, local economic development, systems change, and education.

On 26 October, Jeanette Cuevas, a co-op business developer at the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance (PACA), and Jamila Medley, PACA’s Executive Director, will lead a webinar on Study Groups & Local Co-op Development. In the workshop, participants will discuss and explore the uses and forms of study for building strong co-operative ecosystems. Find out more and book your place here.

Fulbright Fellow Brett N. Jones will be looking at the role of Impact Capital & the Growth of Employee Ownership on 2nd November, and Francesca Pick will be exploring The Future of Organisational Design on 9th November.

Dougald Hine, co-founder of Dark Mountain and a school called HOME, will explore regenerative culture in Ivan Illich: Technology, Education & Culture on 17 November, and Bronwen Morgan, a researcher and teacher working at the intersection of activism and enterprise, will discuss ways to reposition law within environmental movements in Barefoot Lawyers & the Environment on 23 November.

Finally, on 30 November we also have Stacco Troncoso discussing the hands-on microeconomic methodologies of ‘DisCO’ in Make Your Own Distributed Co-operative Org.
